Instagram 2023: Estas serão as principais tendências para a rede social

Instagram 2023: These will be the main trends

Instagram: The year 2022 was marked by the popularization of TikTok-style videos on Instagram – with investment in reels, live, stories and videos in the feed, including, it is worth highlighting, the statement by Adam Mosseri, one of the directors of the social network, announcing that Instagram is no longer a photo-sharing network.

After the euphoria of currents in recent years, driven by the pandemic, the new trends presented for next year promise another rhythm and a new scenario for the social network.

Instagram's 2023 report

Last week, Instagram released its annual trend survey The 2023 Instagram Trend Report, which brings together the main issues that will drive and shape the network's culture in the new year. Social activism, the growth of the food niche and relationship content (focused on love themes) are some of the highlights.

For 2023, the offline world and off-screen experiences will gain audience preference and promise to increase the connection between content creators and their community. Including in person, at meetings and gatherings. With the consolidation of the internet and social networks as part of people's lives, showing real life, including vulnerabilities, is the big difference to increase engagement next year, including with new formats, as 40% of those surveyed state their interest in listen to your podcasts creators favourites.

Instagram to make a better world?

This is in line with another trend presented in the report: activism. People will be more willing to support brands that defend causes they identify with, including financially.

But despite the ease of connecting to its network, competition will be even tougher next year. 64% of users, mainly from Generation Z, responded that they will turn their Instagram projects into a source of income. Next year will separate those who are real content strategists from mere “posters”. Therefore, becoming professional and seeking updates in the area will be even more necessary.

The theme for 2023 will be food. According to the report, 68% of people are interested in food from other countries. People who work with gastronomy and nutrition, as long as they use a lot of creativity, useful content and entertainment, will be able to reap great rewards in this niche.

And the music?

And TikTok's legacy continues: users continue to enjoy having musical experiences while browsing the networks. Just like gastronomy, sounds from different genres and countries, such as K-Pop and Latin music, will be on the rise in 2023.
